One of my favorite is ASICS (Anima Sana In corpore Sano-a sound mind in a sound body) founded in Japan. They make a breatheable fabric that pulls moisture away from your skin and is very light. They specialize in running products.
SUGOI
Another great brand is SUGOI. They also make only running gears I think they are based out in Canada.
ATHLETIC WORKS
But they best deal on the market is something from WALMART yes, it's called "athletic works" made in Mexico. It's swimming gear but is also good for running. The fit is very tight and does not retain water. For those of you who suffer with bleeding nipples I strongly recommend wearing this on your long run. I am prone to bleeding nipples and I wore this product for Miami 2005 marathon and there was no bleeding. I had a very comfortable race. It's also very fashionable and can be used for hanging out with friends, clubbing etc.
